A Happy Hello

Happy Monday everyone! leslierahye quick and easy happy card using the Piccolo accents! I used the beautiful Pop Up Flower Accents and coated two with adhesive fluid and the Girls Night Out EP. I built up a few layers on those two and finished off with a small touch of Vintage Gold EP in the center. For the middle flower, I built up layers of Cranberry Wine EP and then added a bit of Girls night out to the insides of the flowers and some Vintage Gold to finish it off. To finish off the flowers I edged the with a dark marker. I adhered each onto my card mats with white glue and set aside to dry!

I hope you enjoyed my project! Thank you for stopping by today!

Remy with Dog

Isn't he the sweetest little boy?
Nothing cuter than a boy with his dog.
And...Nothing more fun than a
Favorite Embellishment challenge right?!
I love embellishments and honestly...cannot pick just one.
I do.... however.... almost every single time...add pearls or some sort of "bling"
I chose black pearls and also used Piccolo 3D enamel gel for the Lemon Butter pearls
on this card.
I also love to distress edges with inks and now I find myself favoriting
stencils like the one I used on this project.

Enough of my favorites...now show us yours!
You still have until Monday evening to share your projects.
You can find the post that includes the link by sculling down
or just click HERE

Happy Sunday!

Halloween Pumpkins Altered Frame

Today I have a fun Halloween altered frame project. Need a bit of fall decor? This cute frame comes together in less than an hour...including dry time!

To make this frame, you'll need a few items from the G&P store:
Embossing Enamel Powder: Mossy Glen
Tim Holtz Distress Ink: Mustard Seed

Other supplies:
misc. frame (this would be so cool in a Bubble Frame, too! Tune in next week - I actually use one!)
scrap of patterned paper
scrap of fuzzy fibers

Your first step: color the Accent pieces with the 3D gels. *Let dry.

*To add texture to the 'enameled' pieces: let dry until the pieces are tacky. Using a scrap piece of paper, gently dab the semi-wet surface, pulling off small amounts of the gel. Repeat until you like the texture. Let dry.

Using your finger (or a paintbrush) apply the Satin Gold 3D Gel to the raised parts of the frame. LOVE this subtle gilded look!

These carved pumpkins have hilarious faces! They would be even funnier with googley eyes!

When the frame and all of the pieces are dry, lay the house on the scrap piece, trace under the house. Ink up the area and emboss with Mossy Glen.

Using a foam blender, add the moon using Mustard Seed. Attach all of the Accents and fiber using the Glastique.

That's it!

Is it too early to start on Christmas cards?

Inky hugs,
Angi

Innocent Beauty... A Layout

Hello!  Happy Friday!!!  Today I am here sharing my take on our weekly challenge: Favorite Embellishments... and this time I've created something completely different to share... a layout! yay!  And on my layout I have used lots of yummy Picccolo Accents and embossing powders, check it out:

Supplies Used:

I had an absolute fun time creating this layout and playing with all of these accents!  Not to mention how beautiful they look after they are layered with various embossing powders.  I hope this has inspired you, and given you some new ideas on how to use your Piccolo accents and I can't wait to see your projects for our challenge!
Happy Crafting!

Reminders...

Good morning all. Teresa here again with some quick and cute note pins for the fridge.

I have a big group of kids in my life (not all my direct relatives) and I support them in as many events as I can. Keeping it all straight can be a bit of a challenge. I was making these little clips for an event and thought why not personalize some for each of those kids - then I will have a clear visual reminder. The many shapes offered in the Piccolos and the colors of the Embossing Powders made this a fun and simple project.

Let's Shop - ( I am linking to the specific items from the photo, however the two links above go to the main sections of the site.)

- Glastique
- Bahama Aqua Embossing Enamel
- Poodle Skirt Embossing Enamel
- Enamel Powder Adhesive
- Key Accents Piccolo Set
- Flower Flourishes Piccolo Set

Misc items
- wooden clothespins
- decorative paper
- round strong magnets
- Ultimate glue

Adhere a sliver of the decorative paper to the clothespin using the Glastique. (This is a wonderful paper adhesive. Available in a Matte or Gloss finish. I love using this)

Emboss one of the larger Key Accents with the Enamel Powder Adhesive and Bahama Aqua Powder. (I like how this pulled the blue tones in the paper pattern) Also emboss one of the Flourishes with the Poodle Skirt Powder.

Adhere the Accents to the clips using the Glastique.

After this dries - add your magnet to the back of the pin.

The look fun and pretty lined up across my Refrigerator.

Try these combos.
picnic check paper with the BBQ Accents
gothic paper with a Vintage Black Top Hat from the Gentlemen Accents
bright yellow paper with the palm tree from the Beach Accents
camo paper with a deer from the On The Hunt set

Another option would be one for each day of the week.........

Each of the kids knows which one is theirs on the fridge and they add the notes to their clip. So much fun.

Quick and easy ---

Use your favorite embellishment....'Except I cannot pick just one......!  I am a lover of lace, ribbon and sewing on cards. So, I added all three : )
The Butterscotch cardstock has Butterscotch ink (Spot) through a stencil as a background- it is a subtle backdrop for the floral image. I colored the image with Copics. I used a towel and Copic Colorless Blender '0' to texturize the vase.
Here is a close-up of the Enamel Embossed chipboard piece- pictures do not do this embossing powder justice!

Here are the products I used from the SweetStamps.com Store:
